Bartosz Borowski (b. 2002, Poland) is a fashion designer based in Antwerp and Warsaw. He studied industrial design at the School of Form in Warsaw before moving to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, where he completed the Bachelor in fashion in 2025, magna cum laude, and the Master in 2026, summa cum laude.
His collections start from works of art and from the body. Recovery (2024) imagines garments for a body after accident or trauma; An Hommage to Arte Povera (2025) turns eight works of the Italian movement into silhouettes; A Study of Lucian Freud and His Sitters (2026) builds twelve characters out of the painter’s portraits and the organised chaos of his studio.
His work has been shown on the runways of the Antwerp Fashion Department and at Ante-Mortem in Antwerp. In 2025 he received LPP Group’s Best Collection award; ELLE Poland named him Best Upcoming Designer in 2024 and 2025, and he was a finalist of Złota Nitka in both years.
